Dezhou City, China and Várpalota，Hungary Strengthen Friendly Cooperation

On September 5, 2023, Jiao Chao, President of the Central and Eastern Europe-China Science & Technology Exchange Association, visited Várpalota, Hungary, on behalf of the Dezhou Foreign Affairs Office. During the visit, he met with Mayor Márta Campanari-Talabér to discuss the establishment of a friendly cooperation relationship between the two cities.President Jiao Chao introduced the economic and social development achievements of Dezhou and expressed a strong desire to establish a sister-city relationship with Várpalota, inviting the mayor to visit Dezhou in the near future. Mayor Márta shared Várpalota’s development plans, particularly the upcoming construction of a branch of the University of Pannonia, and expressed a willingness to deepen cooperation with Dezhou to further strengthen Sino-Hungarian relations.
The meeting laid a solid foundation for future collaboration between the two cities. Both parties look forward to achieving mutually beneficial outcomes in fields such as culture, education, and economy, working together to create a bright future.
