Successful Hungarian Exchange Seminar Explores Opportunities for Chinese Entrepreneurs in Budapest

On October 15, 2024, the Hungarian Exchange Seminar was successfully held in Budapest, co-organized by the Central and Eastern Europe-China Science and Technology Exchange Association (CEECSTE) and the Hungarian-Chinese Youth Friendship Association. The event attracted political leaders, business elites, young entrepreneurs, and experts in science and technology from both China and Hungary.

Among the attendees were He Yaowei, Vice President of the China Young Entrepreneurs Association (CYEA), Chen Haowei, Chairman of Beidou Qixin Industrial Group, and other prominent young entrepreneurs from China, who delivered speeches.

Maria Kovacs, founder of the Hungarian-Chinese Youth Friendship Association, highlighted the strong and friendly relations between the two countries and emphasized Hungary’s openness in the fields of science, technology, culture, and education.

Su Yi, Vice President of CEECSTE, outlined the association’s commitment to creating a transnational platform for science and technology exchanges, with a focus on advancing cooperation between China and Hungary in new energy and information technology sectors.

As a key hub for the “Belt and Road” initiative in Europe, Hungary offers Chinese enterprises convenient access to the European market. The conference focused on cutting-edge sectors, such as smart manufacturing, new energy, and bio-manufacturing, aiming to inject new energy into the Chinese-Hungarian economy through innovative collaboration.

During the free discussion session, participants shared their experiences and explored potential cooperation opportunities, with a shared vision of creating new business prospects in Hungary and fostering mutual benefits and win-win outcomes.
