Solid waste recycled concrete technology

The team of Czech experts Miroslav Skopán, Roman Jencek, Pavel Gorecky and Dr Yang Bin from Central South University won the third prize in the Fifth Jinan New Dynamic Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and their joint venture, Shandong Elke Environmental Protection Technology Co Ltd, was able to receive 600,000 euros from the Chinese government.

Shandong Elke Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. was registered on 1 November 2022 with a registered capital of 10 million RMB. The solid waste recycled concrete technology project brings a revolutionary patented solution to the construction industry, solving the problem of solid waste resource utilization. The project’s unique economic process produces primary concrete mixes and concrete components from 100% recycled aggregates, completely replacing natural aggregates (sand and gravel). The technology is highly mature and has successfully landed a number of physical projects with many countries.
